The Annual Smart Beach Tour kicked off its season in Frankfurt today. The popular beach volleyball tournament, whose title sponsor is Smart is said to draw in the attention of all the top German Volleyball teams. The tournament usually starts mid May and runs till the end of August (27-29) at the Timmendorfer Strand.

This German Volleyball Association Tournament series will run for three days, May 14 – 16 near Goetheplatz right next to Roßmarkt. The qualifying rounds started today at noon and finals will continue on Saturday and Sunday with the championships starting at approximately 2:30 pm. 10 men’s and women’s teams will be competing.
