Some people say that Frankfurt, compared to other cities like Berlin, is like a “big village”. But even in “big villages”, like Frankfurt, there’s always room for surprises.
Flashmobs are occurring more often in the centre of Frankfurt. And it’s always interesting to see the expressions of tourists or visitors to Frankfurt when they find themselves suddenly in the middle of a flashmob. It’s always so much fun when we’re able to catch such spontaneous events and naturally, being well connected affords us the opportunity to know when such occurrences do happen.
The last flashmob that took place was a “Pillow Fight” at the Hauptwache. It started at 4:00pm on an unsuspecting Saturday afternoon and at the end of a 45 minute battle the entire area looked like a blanket of snow had suddenly landed. Quite a sight, indeed.
So how does one get involved in knowing when these flashmobs occur? For starters, send us an email if you’re interested in being part of future Frankfurt Flashmobs and we’ll give you all the information you need.
