One of their best desserts, frankly speaking, is their Palatschinken.
This Central European Pancake is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the tummy.
According to Wiki, the name is derived from the Latin word “Placenta” (a cake)! Hmmmm, not sure about the actual Latin word and I’m not even going to ponder on how the word Placenta had evolved over the years.
The prices are very reasonable and they are also handicap friendly.
One of the really good things about this cafe is not only its service but its owners. CAFÉ PLAZZ is owned and operated by two brothers, Manu and Nanu. Their warmth and friendliness makes this cafe a favourite of many – oh, and of course the really good food with such great prices.
Because the cafe is right beside a church, you may get to experience the lovely bell chimes. It may also get a little noisy as the church-goers enter and depart from that area. There is parking at the front of the cafe but you may need to circle around a few times to get a spot. The best thing would be to take the U-Bahn to Kirchplatz and the cafe is just a few meters away.
